US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, who has been visiting Israel frequently in the past few months, has decided to buy an apartment in Tel Aviv, according to a report by the Israeli newspaper Haaretz. Blinken said that he made this decision to save time and money on travel expenses, and to show his commitment and support to Israel.
“I have been traveling to Israel almost every week, to discuss various issues and challenges with the Israeli government and other partners in the region. I have been staying in hotels, which are not very comfortable and convenient. I thought it would be better to have my own place in Tel Aviv, where I can feel more at home and relaxed,” Blinken said.
Blinken added that he also wanted to buy an apartment in Tel Aviv to demonstrate his strong and unwavering friendship with Israel, and to reassure the Israeli people that the US stands by them in any situation. He said that he considers Israel as his second home, and that he loves the Israeli culture and lifestyle.
“I have always been a great admirer and supporter of Israel, and I want to show that to the world. By buying an apartment in Tel Aviv, I am sending a clear message that the US and Israel are allies and partners, and that we share the same values and interests. I also enjoy the Israeli food, music, and nightlife, and I want to experience more of that,” Blinken said.
Blinken stated that he bought a three-bedroom apartment in a luxury building in the center of Tel Aviv, for a price of $5 million. He announced that he plans to move in as soon as possible, and that he will invite his Israeli friends and colleagues to visit him. He also declared that he will continue to travel to Israel regularly, and that he hopes to improve the relations between the US and Israel, and to advance the peace and stability in the Middle East.
“I am very excited and happy about my new apartment in Tel Aviv, and I can’t wait to live there. I think this will be a great opportunity for me to strengthen the ties between the US and Israel, and to work together for a better future for both countries and the region. I hope that my apartment will become a place of dialogue and cooperation, and a symbol of friendship and solidarity,” Blinken said.
