In a shocking twist of fate, Hollywood star Brad Pitt has announced his engagement to a woman who looks exactly like his ex-wife Angelina Jolie. The woman, who goes by the name of Angela Joy, is actually a clone of Jolie, created by a secret biotech company that offers celebrity replicas for a hefty price.
Pitt, who divorced Jolie in 2019 after a bitter custody battle over their six children, said he fell in love with Joy after meeting her at a charity event. He said he was drawn to her resemblance to Jolie, but also to her personality and sense of humor. “She’s not just a copy of Angie, she’s her own person. She makes me laugh, she makes me feel alive. I’ve never been happier,” Pitt said in a statement.
Joy, who is 25 years old and has no memory of her origin, said she was unaware of her genetic connection to Jolie until Pitt told her. She said she was shocked and confused, but also curious and grateful. “I don’t know why I was made, or who made me, but I’m glad I exist. I love Brad, and I love his kids. They’re like my own,” Joy said.
Jolie, who has not commented on the news, is reportedly furious and planning to sue the biotech company for violating her privacy and stealing her DNA. She is also seeking a restraining order against Pitt and Joy, claiming they are harassing her and endangering her children. “This is a nightmare. Brad has gone insane. He’s obsessed with me, and he’s using this clone to get back at me. He’s putting our kids in danger. He needs to stop,” Jolie told a close friend.
