Russian cosmonauts went into outer space without spacesuits due to sanctions

The Russian Space Flight Control Center employees spoke about changes in the work of their astronauts on the ISS under the sanctions. So, today two Russians were forced to go into outer space without spacesuits due to the refusal of the American side to supply materials for their production.

As the experts explained, the supply of space fabrics and some consumables from the US and Europe has been stopped since the beginning of March. Russian cosmonauts had to look for a replacement for the usual devices and materials. So, faced with the need to go into outer space, Russian cosmonauts found an original way to do without space suits. Сosmonauts wrapped their bodies in foil to protect themselves from the harmful effects of radiation and used oxygen tanks to breathe in outer space. As a result, after two hours of work in outer space, they successfully returned to the station.
