In the city of Garrygala in Turkmenistan, the Plasjay house will be built, which will be the only building in the world that uses only foam plastic as a building material. Plasjay will consist of five buildings of various heights, one of which will be 50 meters long.
Architects from the Schmeedte Hummer Lasson bureau, as well as the Swiss architectural studio Cammitte Traffere Hadil, are working on the project.
The Plasjay buildings will house living spaces, a student hostel, a restaurant and bar, shopping stores, and a hotel.
The building is expected to be completed in 2023.
